Indications and Benefits

Leptaden has Galactopoietic, Lactogenic and Galactokinetic actions that stimulate and manage breast milk production. Leptaden inhibits bio-synthesis of prostaglandin F2 (PGF2) by uterine tissues, normalising the environmental factors for proper implantation of the fertilised ovum. It has shown to be useful even in cases where there has been a history of 4-10 previous abortions. Leptaden has shown significantly better results over other conventional drugs.

Product Description

Leptaden is stimulated within 8 to 12 hours in most of the cases and show increased milk quantity milk. The flow of milk is easy and child can suck comfortably. It helps to improve and maintain protien, fat, calcium and ash (mineral) contents of Breast Milk. The lactation is maintained even after the treatment is discontinued.

Direction of Use

2 tablets three times a day after delivery for 4 weeks( it is suggested that Leptaden be started from the 1st day of delivery for better results).

In Habitual abortions: Pre-conception treatment : 2 tabs three times a day continuously for 3 months even during menses (Celibacy is to be observed during this period).

After this, once pregnancy is suspected 2 tablets three times a day throughout pregnancy.

In Threatened abortions: start 2 tablets three times a day at the earliest and continue throughout pregnancy.

In primigravida as Prophylaxis: 2 tablets twice a day throughout pregnancy to ensure FTND & FTLB.
