Indication and Benefits

It works by slowing or stopping bacterial reproduction allowing the patient's own immune system to fight the infection itself. It can be used to heal superficial burns quickly and effectively by reducing the burning sensation and pain almost immediately. Its antimicrobial and germ control is also useful on wounds, ulcers, infections as treatment.

Ingredients:

Povidone iodine 5 % w/w.

Water soluble ointment q.s.

Manufacturer recommends

In minor superficial burns, clean the wound area with cold water.

Apply Cipladine ointment directly or as directed by a physician or your medical practitioner.

It can be applied 3-4 times daily.

It can also be applied to sterile dressings for wounds.
